best thing about blogging / Content Creation?
I really enjoy the actual process of creating content - being able to write & take photos, and try different approaches to both. I also love that I have 100% freedom to write or photograph whatever I want, no constraints. Sometimes it can get frustrating when you can't seem to get your work to turn out right, but when it all clicks it's really satisfying.
worst thing about blogging / content creation?
For me, sometimes the worst part is that it's completely up to me to keep going. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely passionate about creating content, but there are days where you see how incredibly talented other people are, and you think "what do I have to offer?" The tough part is being your own boss and throwing water in your own face, because you don't have a team there to say "get your shit together!"

What's your playlist at the moment?
1. Sza & Travis Scott - Love Galore
2. Tiden Flyver - Boom Clap Bachelors
3. By Your Side (Neptunes remix) - Neptunes
4. Hello - Erykah Badu
5. Crew - Goldlink
Who or what inspires you?
I find a lot of inspiration in music. Music can tremendously affect me in how I feel or the mood I'm in, and when I can, I constantly have music playing - it feels like a companion. It inspires me in a way that I can get in the right head space to create.
What does your life look like in your spare time?
I can be a bit of a hermit, so I really enjoy my alone time, or just hanging around with my husband and my cat. I visit my family often, I really love yoga, I like to go out for food & drinks because I'm a terrible cook, I'll go to any museum I can find. I love travelling when I can, but normally my life is pretty simple.
Tell us about your love for skincare & beauty, When did it start?
I've loved beauty ever since I could get my hands on a Lip Smackers root beer chapstick, but I think I really dug in around college. I remember I had a friend who worked at Sephora, and my girlfriends and I would visit her all the time. I would buy one lipstick here, get a sample there, and all of a sudden I'm out of space in my vanity. I initially fell in love with makeup, but skincare came soon after, and the older I get the more I clear out my foundations to make space for toners & cleansers.
Current favorite makeup product
It's a toss up between Glossier Boy Brow and Mac's So Chaud lipstick (one of my favorite summer lip colors). I feel like with those two products and maybe a little concealer, I could look pretty put together.

One thing you wish you had told your 16-year old self:
Stop caring about what other people think and don't wear clothes you're uncomfortable in.
