I'm all for easy, healthy meals and snacks that require minimal effort and include a lot of taste. Today I'm just going to share a few of my favourite foods that I eat pretty much on a daily basis.
AVOCADO ON GLUTEN FREE TOAST W/ DUKKAH, NUTRITIONAL YEAST, PEPITA SEADS, SUNFLOWER SEADS, CELTIC SEA SALT AND FRESH LEMON JUICE
My all time favourite thing in the world is avocado. I have somewhat perfected the art of salt-pepper-lemon juice ratio that the perfect avocado on toast requires. This one is super, super easy (and doesn't need all the fancy things seen in the title- that's just what we made that day).
MIX OF ALMONDS AND COCONUT FLAKE GRANOLA, PECKISH LIGHTLY SALTED RICE CRACKERS, GREEN APPLE
These have to be my go-to snacks. The mix of the granola (no milk added, I literally just eat it with a spoon) adds a bit of sweetness to the almonds. The crackers are my daily dose of sodium while apples are hands down my favourite fruit.
Ps: Almonds contain heaps of protein, fibre, magnesium and healthy fats that are essential in a clean diet
GLUTEN FREE TOAST WITH VEGAN SMOKEY "MINCE", GUACAMOLE, PEPITA SEADS, SLICED TOMATOES AND BASIL
My mother made this for me and oh my gosh it was delicious.
SPICY LEMON VEGAN "CHICKEN", RICE AND STEAMED VEGETABLES
So I tend to eat out a lot, however that doesn't mean I eat unhealthy. In fact, I'm constantly looking for healthy vegetarian/ vegan cafes and restaurants to try out because in all honesty, the food is always so creative and carefully made.
Tea Master is one of my favourites. They feature asian-style dishes that are completely vegan, but have similar flavours to meat dishes (without the meat, obviously). One thing I can't stand is when something actually tastes like meat, however they manage to deliver amazing food that doesn't taste exactly like meat, but come with all the delicate flavours and spices that the popular meat dishes often come with.
My mother is the real cook, and she does some amazing vegan meals that are creative and delicious. Her instagram is @keilleigh.tm if you wanted to check them out, or you can just click here.
