hello lovelies!

Ah, Zoe Foster Blake;  a successful author who can now add a crazy popular Australian skincare line to her list of achievements. Coming across Go-To skincare, I felt I had stumbled upon something similar to Frank Body - cheeky products filled with personality and uniqueness. Her creations are essentials - hand creams, a face wash, a face oil and two lip products. I was immediately intrigued by Face Hero, and quickly decided that was the product I wanted to try.

Ingredients

10/10

Almond oil, jojoba oil, macadamia oil, brazil nut oil, evening primrose oil, buriti oil, arnica oil, rosehip oil, calendula oil, kiwi fruit seed oil, tocopherol (vitamin e), totarol, rosemary leaf extract, natural fragrance (orange blossom & rose gardenia.)

Packed with star ingredients such as jojoba oil, macadamia oil, brazil nut oil, Vitamin E and rosehip oil (to name a few), this product is built to strengthen the protective barrier in your skin. With it also being all-natural and cruelty free, You really can't get a much better face oil than this. Orange blossom and rose gardenia are also present ingredients and in my opinion, these are the most prominent scents of the product. I'll talk about this more below!

Packaging

8/10

This product was a lot smaller than I anticipated. For $45 AU I expected something a little more substantial. However, what it lacks for in size it makes up for in quality (and longevity!). It comes in a cute little coral/peachy coloured glass bottle with the brands' logo plastered on the front.  The dispenser is a little glass pipette. It's very easy to use and you don't accidently spill more out than you're meant to, which allows for easy control over the amount of product you want to apply. Personally, I like adding about 2-3 drops to my face as night-time to seal in the rest of my skincare and for added moisture.

The vibe that you get from the packaging when you browse through all of their products is "you know you want me" and well, we do!

Application

10/10

The application of the product is glorious. I usually dilute my 2-3 drops in either a little bit of water for better absorbability, or mixed into my moisturiser. First, you're hit with the smell of the orange blossom and rose. Think lazing around eating berries in meadow in the middle of summer. Yep, that's how it smells. Then you get the texture, which is silky and luxurious and absorbs almost instantly. After this, you're left with glowy, dewy skin and huge smile. I recommend you pat it into the skin for best results.

Results

9.5/10

Apparently you can use this night and day, however despite the fact it's not oily per se,  it does shine under makeup so I only use this at night time after I put on any treatment serums (which is why I didn't give it 10/10). Often when I wake up, I'm not disappointed. I strongly believe it's helping fix the texture of my skin, smooth over and hydrate under my eyes and give me an overall better complexion. I feel like my skin is brand-new when I use this. I actually couldn't recommend a better face oil.

Before you go, what's your favourite face oil? Would you try this one? Let me know in the comments below! xx

PRODUCT STATUS: New holy grail and yes, it's a face hero.
